Disney’s Stars and Motor Cars parade debuted in (at the time) Disney-MGM Studios on October 1, 2001 for the 100 Years of Magic Celebration. It featured Disney characters in a cavalcade of cars that parade from the Star Tours Backstage gate to the Hollywood Blvd Backstage Entrance, near Sid Cauanga’s. During the holiday season, the parade was transformed into the "Hollywood Holly-day Parade".
The parade had its final run at Disney's Hollywood Studios on March 8, 2008. It has been replaced by the Block Party Bash parade from Disney's California Adventure.
Debuting in April 2009, the Stars and Motor Cars Parade moved over to Walt Disney Studios Paris for the new Stars N Cars Event. Where a “parade” of cars moves through the park, then stops near a central stage area and the characters perform a show.
