In theme park news, at Wednesday’s Shareholder Meeting, Bob Iger announced several new pieces of information. The first two regard the D23 Community of Fans. It was confirmed that the D23 Expo will not be returning this year (2010), but will become an “Every Other Year” event and return in 2011. We posted more information on Wednesday.
Another event announced was the other “every other year” event, Destination D, which will be a two day event on even number years, in the same time of the D23 Expos (early September). This year’s theme is Disneyland 55 and is a D23 Member Exclusive, unlike the D23 Expo. More information was posted on Wednesday.
This week the Sherman Brothers were honored with a window on Main Street on Thursday. (Pictures from D23.)
Also announced at the Shareholder Meeting was the Premier Passport, an Annual Pass for both coasts, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. More information can be found here, we posted on Wednesday.

Onto the pins… We’ll start with two pieces of Vinylmation Pin News.

This limited edition mystery collection features Mickey Mouse in various artistic styles. Each box contains two (2) pins, and an additional mystery pin of one of five different styles from the Urban #3 Vinylmation™ collection. The pins measure approximately 2.75" tall by 1.5" wide.
