--Also if you wish to get pins from the event, Disney offically released how to get the pins:
Vouchers will be distributed entitling bearers to the opportunity to purchase merchandise in conjunction with the D23 EXPO Dream Store. Vouchers for the merchandise will be distributed at a designated location upon entry to the Convention Center venue. Holding a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Guests who wish to obtain a voucher to purchase merchandise must be present when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line.
Vouchers will be valid for the purchase of the merchandise at the designated merchandise location until 4:00 P.M. on the day of distribution. Vouchers are limited. At 4:00 P.M. any remaining merchandise will be available for purchase at the designated merchandise location by persons who have not previously purchased the merchandise on the day of release. Vouchers may not be copied andwill not be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. Vouchers have no cash value and must be surrendered at time of purchase. D23 Expo Credential may be required. Other restrictions may apply. Subject to change without notice.
--Disneyland Resort has released the Hidden Mickey Set for September (pic below, sorry its small)
--Another piece of DLR Pin news is more information about the Summer Pin Festival 2010 has been released... No dates are offical, but they will be announced at teh October 1, 2009 PTN at the Contemporary.
--They also gave us a preview of an upcoming Jumbo Pin from the Summer Pin Festival as well as telling us to look for the little castles (below, top right corner) throughout DisneyPins.com that will be coming soon and will be giving us previews of the event merchandise so stay tuned.
On to WDW Pin News..
--This week they previewed a new PWP (Purchase with Purchase) pin to be released sometime withine this next year featuring Different Disney Characters with different languages of TEN... Stay Tuned for more info.
--Also previewed were these couple of "Two On a Card" pins, featuring Snowman Mickey and Minnie, and a Mickey Pilgram Hat with Acorn... Both sets are Open Edition and will most likely be released at BOTH DLR and WDW.
--Also this week, with the preview of info for teh SUmmer Pin Festival in DLR, they also "previewed" the Trade City USA, the Pin Celebration 2010... The offical date for the event will be released on October 1, 2009 at the PTN at Contemporay, like the SPF at Disneyland.
--Along with the "offical info" Whats HapPINing previewed a pin coming out at the event, and told us to look for the Road Signs (below, top right) throughout the DisneyPins.com site for upcoming previews and more details coming soon... So once again Stay Tuned...
On to Park News, this week we really only have news from Disneyland Resort...
--The Lucky Fortune Cookery "re-opened" this week in Disney's California Adventure, replacing the old Cocina Cucamonga location, as they switched.
--Another BIG piece of news from Disneyland was that "Murphy" the new Malificent Dragon premiered this week to guests in Fantasmic!, the pictures below are courtesy of Disney, from a recent press event.... Might I say, I am SOO jealous and hope that teh Disney's Hollywood Studios puppet gets replaced with something at least half as decent as this.
